My visit to Fleetwood urgent care centre was a visit of two extremes. The reception staff were initially patronising then just plain rude and unprofessional when I expressed the fact that I didn't need them to speak for me, no help was given for me to find a seat once I had expressed That I'd be allowed to book myself in but the lady Doctor Who took care of me and treated me was courteous, kind and professional. She treated me with dignity and kindness and like a fellow human being. I have since written a letter of complaint about the way the reception staff treated me, and I know I'm not the 1st to be treated poorly by members of the reception team at this centre so, be prepared. I just hope my letter of complaint stop anybody else from going through what I went through.

The reception staff clearly need training in how to treat people with a disability, or perhaps just need to know that we are like any other people out there despite our disabilities. As for the lady doctor, she couldn't have done anything better than she did. She even made a point of going out to find out which receptionist it was that made me so very upset.

I am very happy with my visit I am only sorry that my ankle area is still red and painful so I will have to get back to you to organise another appointment with you. Regards Ann Smith

Staff were friendly and courteous. Waited approximately 90 minutes which was not bad considering. Nurse was lovely and examined me thoroughly.

I cannot praise the staff at the centre highly enough. From reception to nurses to doctors whenever I have attended I have been treated with the utmost care patience and kindness.and as a pensioner I can assure you that is not always the case elsewhere. No matter how busy they are they are nothing is too much trouble Can't thank them enough

Went to have a check on my chest as I was coughing up coloured sputem.

I was greeted by a lovely receptionist called Jennifer who immediately put me at my ease. What a lovely person. The nurse who treated me, once more, very caring lovely person, unfortunately I can’t remember what she was called but was very pleased I was treated by her.
